7 Mountains

Destiny4Life International Ministries will be facilitating Seven Mountain Ministry Workshops for anyone who is called as a minister in the marketplace. This includes those who are studying at University/ Tafe etc.

These workshops will be beginning soon at a central venue near you (evenings) and you can register your interest by emailing us at info@destiny4life.com.  We will then keep you informed with dates, cost and venues where these will be held.

The make up of the ministry workshops will involve teaching, connection and networking, strategic prayer and discussion /sharing.  We have provided for you useful websites and recommended reading (please see below)

The purpose of these workshops are designed to equip you to be the person God has called you to be as his ambassador and minister, to be salt and light to your workplace and release the Kingdom of God in the marketplace.

Meet, share and learn with others who are in the same line of work as you.

Let the Holy Spirit clarify your mission and mountain he created you to make an eternal impact on.  Know that as you accept your “mission impossible”, all things are possible with his favour!  Every believer needs to understand his or her work is not a “secular” calling, but rather a God-assigned mission!

Just look at the examples of: Esther, Daniel, Nehemiah, Joseph who had great influence over their culture.

Come and join with us and we unpack the seven mountains and look together at the issues and challenges facing all of us as we seek to bring heaven to earth and release the Kingdom of God.

Connect09 : Marketplace Leaders Consultation   – March 12th 2009

This is an annual opportunity for leaders who share a common calling to impact the marketplace for Christ to meet together to make and refresh relationships and learn from each others journeys.

It was held in Melbourne, with  26 people in attendance from across Australia.  The people attending included pastors, business people, ministry groups.  A diverse cross section, bringing a mosaic of experiences and ideas.

The purposes and objectives, were well thought out and the day was well organised. It ran very smoothly, which enabled everyone to benefit.  There was mix of sharing individual insights, listening to selected speakers, with good discussion and interaction, together with time for developing relationships over coffee and lunch.  God has a way of connecting you with the right people for the next step of your journey.

The discussion about discipleship revealed that most Christians had not been discipled.  Further it was recognised that there is a great need for discipleship, coaching, mentoring, as Christians realise that their work is the assignment that God has given them.

Rising above the Storm

Over 330 people attended the 2009 Cre8 Kingdom Business Summit held in Melbourne on March 13 – 14. The achieved purpose of the conference was to provide encouragement, practical support and relational connectivity to Christian Business Owners, Leaders, Emerging Leaders, Entrepreneurs and Church Leaders. Many of these are facing a turbulent future at a time when the current world economy is in crisis.

The theme of the conference, “Rising Above the Storm” focused on overcoming the impact of the global recession by helping Christian Business people recognise their calling to the Marketplace Ministry and how to impact the marketplace as leaders. This was progressively developed in every session.

The world economy is changing rapidly and the outlook appears challenging for businesses over coming years. Yet God is calling His people to be leaders, entrepreneurs and investors in the business world, and show the way forward by applying His timeless principles in moving from Agreement to Alignment. More than ever, it is time for business leaders to be clear in their calling, and allow God’s Spirit to help them see the world situation through His eyes and “Rise above the Storm”.
